The sun dips low over Crockett, Texas, painting the courthouse golden and casting long shadows down Historic Camp Street. But tonight, those shadows don't hold secrets—they pulsate with the rhythm of the blues. Join us March 8-10th 2024.
For three glorious days and nights the spirit of The Blues will rise again in the heart of Crockett. We're not just talkin' any ol' blues jam, folks. This is the Camp Street Blues Jam: Jammin' for the Kids & Community, a musical mash-up where legendary bluesmen and fresh-faced pickers join forces to raise funds for two causes close to our hearts.
First, we're strummin' a sweet melody for the future. A portion of the proceeds will go towards the Camp Street Blues Jam Scholarship Fund, nurturing the next generation of Crockett's musical talent. Imagine it: young fingers dancin' on frets, voices carrying the tales of our town to faraway ears.
Second, we're buildin' a blues-infused bridge to a brighter Crockett. A portion of the proceeds will be poured into local community projects, from sprucin' up the Historic District to lendin' a hand in the Downtown Foliage Project.
